Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The staff were very polite and understanding. The hotel was/is labelled as pet-friendly and indeed good enough for our family and the dog. The swimming pool was still open, which made the stay a lot more enjoyable. The close proximity to the botanical garden and some shops was an added bonus.

Negative: A grand old place this hotel, in a dire need of TLC. I sincerely hope investments are planned to help bring this back up to full spec (all pools, gym, bar, rooms).
